OUR COMMITMENT TO OUR COMMUNITIES
Since its inception, Cross Texas Transmission has maintained a commitment to support the communities in which we operate. This commitment has continued since we opened our Austin offices in 2012 through our support of children's education and health and other public health initiatives.
Back To School Bash
For some families, the first day of the school year can be a financial burden. That’s why we are involved with the Austin Independent School District (AISD) and nurses from Dell Children’s/AISD Health Services to help put on the Back to School Bash. The Back to School Bush is an initiative that provides school supplies and vaccinations to students at the start of the year.
Cross Texas Transmission's support helped provide students and families with 3,000 free backpacks, basic school supplies and vaccinations to kick off the start of the school year in 2016 and again in 2017.

“They have notebook paper, pens and papers. The basic needs just to help the families who may not be able to purchase all those things by themselves, because it seems like the school supply list gets longer and longer every year.”Beverly Reeves
Cross Texas Transmission supports various other organizations in Central Texas, many of which our employees also personally support. Some of these include the Multiple Sclerosis Bike-a-Thon, Hospice Austin Christopher’s House, the Austin Ronald McDonald House, and Lifeworks.
